A partir de textos clásicos y modernos, los participantes del taller tendrán la oportunidad de investigar y aprender cómo los autores de comedia proponen situaciones y tramas diversas, así como una variedad de personajes, con el fin de hacer reír al público.
Durante las sesiones se explorará la función de la comedia, se prestará atención a diversos procedimientos y mecanismos humorísticos, tanto en situaciones, espacio y lenguaje de los textos como en los personajes que proponen los dramaturgos.

El taller pretende dar herramientas para entender los entresijos de la comedia que, además de ser un arte de hacer reír al público, puede funcionar como una herramienta esencial de comunicación para romper barreras, hacer frente a los tabúes y desafiar lo prohibido.

Los participantes explorarán el chiste como una forma simple de humor, la comedia teatral que contiene una trama más compleja con ironías, confusiones y sarcasmos, o la farsa. Además, los estudiantes trabajarán la expresión corporal mediante improvisaciones para aprender a dominar su cuerpo y encontrar como se expresarían los personajes de los textos con sus distintos matices.

Using classic and modern texts, workshop participants will have the opportunity to investigate and learn how comedy authors propose diverse situations and plots, as well as a variety of characters, in order to make the audience laugh.

During the sessions, the function of comedy will be explored, attention will be paid to various humorous procedures and mechanisms, both in situations, space and language of the texts and in the characters proposed by the playwrights.

The workshop aims to provide tools to understand the ins and outs of comedy which, in addition to being an art to make the audience laugh, can function as an essential communication tool to break down barriers, face taboos and challenge what is prohibited.

Participants will explore the joke as a simple form of humor, the stage comedy that contains a more complex plot with ironies, confusions and sarcasm, or the farce. In addition, students will work on body expression through improvisations to learn to master their bodies and find how the characters in the texts would express themselves with their different nuances.
