Sorolla (B1 students and above)

In 1912 Joaquin Sorolla was commissioned to paint 14 decorative panels for the Hispanic Society of New York. These panels show his own vision of Spain – a representation of the different regions and people of the country. We will explore his use and technique of light, as well as his representation of the life, habits, and psychology of his subjects. During this workshop we will briefly introduce Sorolla's career and analyse his relationship with the Hispanic Society.

This course is run online with the video conferencing app Zoom. Live teacher-led classes in small groups of maximum 10 students. We provide a friendly and supportive environment using the most innovative distance learning tools and the best native teachers.

You will receive details about the course and the Zoom ID the day before the course starts.
