in 1599, Diego Velázquez, one of the most talented and renowned painters in the world, was born in Seville. His masterful technique, skills in composition, and ability to portray the most important characters in the court of Philip IV, made Velázquez the most admired artist of his day.

This workshop is a virtual tour of the biography and work of this genius of Baroque painting. We will walk through his most important productions and his role as a court painter, focusing on the historical and artistic analysis of his masterpiece: "las Meninas".
