School Visit. December 2nd, 2025
School Visit to Instituto Cervantes Dublin – Cultural and Linguistic Immersion
The visit take place from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, for 2 groups of up to 25 students.
Reservations must be confirmed at least two weeks in advance. Once the full fee is paid to book the school visit, Instituto Cervantes will contact you to sign an agreement.
These visits are tailored for students in the Junior Cycle, Transition Year, and Leaving Certificate Cycle from any Irish school.
PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
The visit lasts two hours and includes two main activities:
Cultural or Linguistic Workshop
Students can choose one of the following:
1. Comic Workshop – Every Inch a Cat: Led by artist Elida Maiques, students learn how to create their own comic, with no drawing experience required.
2. Flamenco Dance Workshop: Professional dancer Sandra Palomar introduces students to Spanish dance, music, and cultural traditions through fun, physical activities.
3. Spanish Language Workshop: An interactive session tailored to the group’s level, covering Spanish language and cultural topics agreed upon with the teacher in advance.
Challenge Game in the Library
Students will participate in one of two themed challenge games in the institute’s library:
1. History and Collections of the Library: An educational journey exploring the links between Irish and Hispanic cultures.
2. Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer’s Mystery Legend: A puzzle-based experience inspired by the famous Spanish writer’s gothic tales.
